(Los Angeles, CA) - May 13, 2009 - Moving Pictures Film and Television (MPFTV) announces latest acquisition deals featuring Prevalent Entertainment's THE PRODIGY, the star studded NOBLE THINGS and comic book creator, Brian Pulido's feature debut THE GRAVES. Additionally, MPFTV will screen three films from the Palm Tree Entertainment Library to include SISTERS GRIMM, PHOTOSHOOT and DEEP LIES starting May 16th-18th at the MPFTV Riviera Booth (D4) in Cannes.

Most recently MPFTV, acquired the international rights for THE PRODIGY, which is being released domestically by Peace Arch. THE PRODIGY is Prevalent Entertainment's latest animated feature that highlights the story of a lovely yet humble young girl in Ancient China who is an exceptional champion. Although she is the underdog, and the odds are against her, she discovers that there is no limit to what she can accomplish when she believes in herself. Prevalent's team is comprised of top industry talent including Dream Works Animation, Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Cartoon Network. 

The official selection of the Nashville and Austin Film Festivals, NOBLE THINGS ties together a story of love, loyalty, and what happens when painful secrets become too heavy to bear. The film assembles an all-star cast featuring Michael Parks, (Grindhouse, Kill Bill); Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, Remember the Titans, Saving Private Ryan); Brett Moses (Buffy the Vampire Slayer); Dominique Swain (Alpha Dog, Lolita); Ron Canada (Weeds, National Treasure); James Parks (True Blood, 24, Grindhouse) and Grammy Award winning, Lee Ann Womack. 

After writing and creating over 250 comics books, including stints on A Nightmare on Elm St., Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chucky and Friday The 13th, comic scribe Brian Pulido has ventured into the world of film, writing and directing his feature debut, THE GRAVES. Featuring acclaimed horror genre stars including, Tony Todd, Clare Grant, Bill Moseley and Amanda Wyss, two sisters are lured to an abandoned mine town that harbors terrifying secrets.
