MAITLAND PRIMROSE AND KIDS FIRST! PRESENTS THEIR FIRST THEATRICAL RELEASE “THE LEGEND OF TILLAMOOK’S GOLD” IN ARIZONA
Maitland Primrose Group, Publishers of Moving Pictures Magazine, Creates New Distribution Label in Conjunction with KIDS FIRST!
(PHOENIX) – March 19, 2008 – Entertainment media company, Maitland Primrose Group, who operates and owns Moving Pictures Magazine, Moving Pictures Film & TV and The Maitland Primrose Film Distribution theatrical arm releases their first theatrical movie “The Legend of Tillamook’s Gold”” in Mesa, Arizona on March 28, 2008. Maitland Primrose Film Distribution is currently releasing the first KIDS FIRST! PRESENTS Theatrical Presentation, “The Legend of Tillamook’s Gold” (www.tillamooktreasure.com), which will next play at Harkins’ Superstition in Mesa, Arizona on March 28, 2008. The film was a huge success at the KIDS FIRST! Festivals around the country and features Brian McNamara of Lifetime TV show, Army Wives. The film tells the story of teenage sleuth, Julie Kimbell, who searches for a legendary treasure buried in the mountains of Tillamook, Oregon.
The new label from Maitland Primrose Film Distribution will acquire films on its own and independently of KIDS FIRST! KIDS FIRST! will recommend films that have been endorsed by them or accepted for their film festival.

KIDS FIRST! and Ranny Levy are pioneers in movies for children of all ages,” said Margaret Tritch, President of Maitland Primrose Group. “We are pleased to lend our experience and expertise to help increase the visibility and availability of quality children’s media as KIDS FIRST! joins our film distribution arm.”
Maitland Primrose Group will designate a portion of the proceeds from “The Legend of Tillamook’s Gold” matinee screenings on Saturday, March 29th to Save The Family in Mesa, Arizona and Sunday, March 30’s matinees to the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN.)
Later this year, Maitland Primrose will be introducing “The Legend of Tillamook’s Gold” on DVD through Chicago/L.A. based distributor Questar Inc. followed by a premiere TV showing on Starz! Pay Television in October.
